Intuitive Search Functions

What it does
Starling’s Intuitive Search lets you search through your data using keywords or by "time-traveling" through the file's version history. Whether you're looking for specific content, metadata, or an earlier version of a file, Starling makes it easy to locate exactly what you need.

How it helps
This tool helps you quickly find files, even if you only recall partial details, like a keyword, a project, a collaborator, or a time frame. It significantly enhances search effectiveness, saving time and reducing frustration by giving you multiple ways to retrieve your data.

How to

  1. Go to Work Activity in Starling.
  2. Enter keywords related to the file or project you’re looking for. Search in Work Activity prioritizes time first.
  3. Alternatively, use "time-traveling" to search through the file's version history to locate older or archived versions.

With these options, you can easily navigate your data, even in large and complex file structures, finding exactly what you need without hassle.

Secondly, you can search in the Browser view by exploring your folders on keywords. This will only filter for your search phrase on files and folders currently in view.

And on Graph discovery - keywords, file content and also “time-traveling”. Graph Discovery prioritizes textual content first.

Plus you can save inquiries.

Any future document with the same keywords inquiry will be shown.

Any future document with the same keywords inquiry will be shown so it is not a static view. You can time travel these inquiries. The result today can be different then it was yesterday.
